BREWERY TAPROOM SUPERVISOR FULL TIME JOB AVAILABLE NOW
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about craft beer and can match this with their ability to efficiently manage the day-to-day running of our onsite Brewery Taproom.
Our Brewery Taproom is open Tues- Fri evenings & Sat/Sun- All day. Our brand and popularity is continuing to grown and we are looking to develop what we currently offer by running more events and hosting more privately booked parties on site.
The successful applicant will have proven bar management experience, preferably with a focus on craft beer. They will need to be flexible with working days/hours and always offer a welcoming atmosphere in our Brewery Taproom. The desire and enthusiasm to co-manage and develop new events is important.
There may also be opportunities to work at specialist beer events around London and the UK as and when they arise.
This job is based in London SW17. Applicant must be able to travel to and from the site with some finishing times after midnight.
The bar is open evenings, weekend and bank holidays so applicant must be happy to work these times
Excellent organisation, planning and preparation skills.
Great customer service.
Fluent English speaking.
Ability to manage casual bar staff.
Team player but also motivated to work unsupervised on own initiative.
Good time management skills.
Good with numbers.
Focus on attention to detail.
Experience & attitude required:
Previous Bar/Pub management experience is essential.
Experience in events planning or supervision is desirable.
An interest and knowledge of craft beer is desirable.
A dynamic ‘can do’ attitude with the enthusiasm to get stuck in and make the role their own is key.
Ambition and drive to assist with developing the scope of bar sales to include event nights is important.
Managing the day to day running of the By The Horns Brewery Taproom.
Cleaning and preparing the keg & cask lines
Cashing up the bar at the end of each shift.
General cellar management and ensuring the snacks & bottle fridge remain well stocked.
Ensuring the taproom is presentable, clean & ready at opening times.
Serving customers and helping with any queries or recommendations.
Aiding with the planning and overseeing of special events at the Brewery Taproom e.g private parties, themed events etc.
Running brewery tours and tastings (after relevant training)
Immediate availability preferable but negotiable.
Salary dependent on experience.
